I'm pleased to offer professional development workshops for early childhood educators. If you'd like you, your staff, and/or parent community to learn more about how to can incorporate music in the classroom and/or at home, or if you'd like to explore particular musical concepts in early childhood, please reach out to tessamooremusic@gmail.com. Let me know a little about your school and what you're looking for, and approximately when you'd like your event to take place. I am open to traveling for workshops if appropriate.
I've given talks for educators, parents, and combined participants. Topics have included:
Musicality as it relates to early childhood development
Incorporating music in the early childhood classroom
Incorporating music at home
How to promote musical literacy in early childhood
Diversity in early childhood music education
Song/activity recommendations
I am available for group clinics for middle school and high school flute students. I am pleased to help intermediate/advanced flutists continue growing as musicians, and to better hone the beautiful craft of flute-playing. I'm comfortable in aiding current projects/vision from music directors, and/or designing focused clinics on topics like:
Tone production
Developing vibrato
Building comfort in the high register
Smart practice habits
Playing in small groups (ex. chamber music, flute choir, duo, etc.)
If you are interested in booking a flute clinic with me, please reach out to tessamooremusic@gmail.com. Let me know a little bit about your school, what you are looking for, and approximately when you'd like the clinic to take place.
Note: My work is solely in the educational setting. I am not currently booking private private students or keeping a waitlist. For inquiries such as this, I recommend looking into some of the wonderful music shops and organizations the city has to offer.
